How it is used

Often called BAR. It commonly refers to a flexible public rate, but naming and restrictions vary; check the actual conditions. Member or package offers may be cheaper.

Example sentences

1. The best available rate allows cancellation until Tuesday, while the cheaper prepaid offer does not.

   Cancellation is allowed by the conditions of this particular offer; the BAR label alone does not establish that right.
