How to use the word lists

  • Find your level. Not sure? Take the vocabulary size test or the English level test first.
  • Test yourself on your level's list. The one-minute test on each page shows what share of that level's words you know.
  • Learn the words by reading. Lists show what to learn; words stick when you meet them again and again in stories. Start with free English books at your level.
