RevPAR
Meaning in tourism & hospitality, with examples
In tourism & hospitality, RevPAR means: Short for revenue per available room: total room revenue divided by all rooms available for sale, or ADR multiplied by the occupancy rate.
In Turkish: müsait oda başına gelir, RevPAR
How it is used
Hotels use RevPAR to compare themselves with competitors and with past periods, because it combines price and occupancy in one number. Example: an ADR of €120 at 75% occupancy gives a RevPAR of €90. It is said as one word: REV-par.
