Seller rating
Meaning in e-commerce, with examples
In e-commerce, seller rating means: A score that shows how a marketplace seller performs, based on buyer feedback and things like on-time shipping, cancellations and returns.
In Turkish: satıcı puanı, mağaza puanı
How it is used
Very important for marketplace sellers, because a low seller rating can reduce visibility or lead to account warnings. Sellers protect, improve or lose their rating; buyers check it before ordering. Also called seller score or seller feedback.
Example sentences
Late shipments in December pulled our seller rating down to 8.9.
Buyers usually choose the seller with the better seller rating, even if the price is slightly higher.
