In e-commerce, carrier means: A company that picks up parcels from sellers and delivers them to customers, such as a national post service or a private courier company.

How it is used

Used by operations and customer service teams. Stores choose, negotiate with, compare and switch carriers; customers contact the carrier about a delayed parcel. Shipping carrier and courier are also common.
