In e-commerce, shipping means: Sending orders to customers by a delivery company, and also the fee or service option for doing so, such as standard or express shipping.

How it is used

One of the most frequent words in online retail. Stores offer, charge for or include shipping; customers compare shipping costs and shipping times. The verb is ship: 'Your order has shipped'.
