Churn
Meaning in entrepreneurship & startups, with examples
In entrepreneurship & startups, churn means: The loss of customers or subscribers who stop using or paying for a product in a given period, usually measured as a monthly or yearly percentage.
In Turkish: müşteri kaybı, abonelik iptali, kayıp oranı
How it is used
Used as a noun (high churn, churn rate) and as a verb (customers churn). Subscription startups track customer churn and revenue churn. Even fast growth cannot save a product if churn is high, because new customers simply replace the ones you lose.
