Order confirmation

In international trade, order confirmation means: A document or message from the seller accepting a buyer's order and repeating the agreed products, prices, delivery date and terms.

In Turkish: sipariş teyidi, sipariş onayı

How it is used

Sent after a purchase order arrives. Buyers often ask for it in writing ('Please send your order confirmation'), and it is the stage where errors are usually spotted before production starts. Also called an acknowledgement of order.
