DAP
Meaning in international trade, with examples
In international trade, DAP means: Delivered at Place: an Incoterms rule in which the seller delivers the goods to the named destination, ready for unloading, and bears the risk until then; the buyer handles import clearance and duties.
In Turkish: belirlenen yerde teslim, DAP teslim
How it is used
Very common for truck shipments from Turkey to Europe: 'DAP Stuttgart'. The seller arranges and pays the transport but not the unloading or the import formalities. It replaced the older DDU term, which some buyers still use.
Example sentences

Under DAP, the buyer pays the import VAT and duties when the truck arrives.
