Accident report

In insurance, accident report means: A form describing a road accident, usually filled in and signed by the drivers involved or prepared by the police, and used to handle the claim.

In Turkish: kaza tespit tutanağı, kaza raporu

How it is used

Needed for most motor claims. Drivers fill in an accident report at the scene, including a sketch, and send it to their insurer. In Europe a standard form called the 'European Accident Statement' is used.
