In tourism & hospitality, rooming list means: A list of the guests in a group, sent before arrival, showing their names, room types and who shares a room with whom.

How it is used

Sent by tour operators, agencies or event organisers to the reservations department. The front office uses it to pre-assign rooms and prepare key cards so that a large group can check in quickly.
