In film & television, voice-over means: A voice heard over the images that does not come from someone speaking on screen, such as a narrator or a character's thoughts.
In Turkish: dış ses, anlatıcı sesi
How it is used
Written V.O. in screenplays. Documentaries, adverts and trailers use voice-over narration, and voice actors record voice-overs in a studio. O.S. (off-screen) is different: the character is in the scene but not visible.
