Dead stock
Meaning in e-commerce, with examples
In e-commerce, dead stock means: Products that have not sold for a long time and are unlikely to sell at their normal price, taking up warehouse space and money.
In Turkish: ölü stok, hareketsiz stok, satılmayan stok
How it is used
Used by buyers, finance and warehouse teams. Stores try to clear, sell off, bundle or donate dead stock, and avoid it with better forecasting. Slow-moving stock is the step before it.
