In e-commerce, cash on delivery means: A payment method in which the customer pays the courier in cash, or sometimes by card, when the parcel is delivered, instead of paying online.
In Turkish: kapıda ödeme, kapıda nakit ödeme
How it is used
Common in markets where some shoppers do not trust or do not use online payments. Shortened to COD. Stores offer or limit COD and may add a COD fee; refused COD parcels come back and cost the seller shipping both ways.
