Revise and resubmit
Meaning in academic english & research, with examples
In academic english & research, revise and resubmit means: An editor's decision that a manuscript cannot be accepted yet but may be reconsidered if the authors make substantial changes and submit it again.
In Turkish: düzeltip yeniden gönderme, majör düzeltme kararı, büyük revizyon
How it is used
Often shortened to R&R and close to a major revision decision. Authors revise the paper and write a response letter that answers each reviewer comment point by point. An R&R is generally seen as good news, but acceptance is not guaranteed.
