Color space
Meaning in photography, with examples
In photography, color space means: A defined range of colors that an image file, screen or printer can use, such as sRGB, Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB.
In Turkish: renk uzayı, renk alanı
How it is used
sRGB is the standard for the web and most screens; Adobe RGB and ProPhoto RGB hold more colors and are used for editing and high-quality printing. Exporting in the wrong color space can make colors look dull online. A closely related term is color profile (ICC profile).
