App review
Meaning in mobile app development, with examples
In mobile app development, app review means: The check that Apple or Google does on an app or update before it appears in their store, to make sure it follows their rules and works properly.
In Turkish: uygulama incelemesi, mağaza incelemesi
How it is used
Teams say a build is 'in review', 'waiting for review', has 'passed review' or 'failed review'. Apple's process is called App Review and follows the App Review Guidelines; a review often takes a day or two but can take longer, so release plans leave time for it.
Example sentences
The new version has been waiting for app review since Friday.
We failed app review because the demo account didn't work.
