In Turkish: park yeri, uçak park pozisyonu
How it is used
Stands are numbered: 'stand 12', a remote stand, a contact stand (next to the terminal with a jet bridge). Controllers and ground staff say 'taxi to stand 12' or 'the aircraft is on stand'. A marshaller or a docking system guides the aircraft in.
