Sprint planning

In project management, sprint planning means: The meeting at the start of each sprint where the Scrum team agrees on a sprint goal, chooses the backlog items it will deliver and plans how to do the work.

How it is used

One of the official Scrum events. The product owner explains the priorities and the developers decide how much they can take on, often using their velocity. People say “in sprint planning” or “at sprint planning”.
