In project management, scrum means: A popular agile framework in which a small team delivers work in fixed cycles called sprints, with set roles such as product owner and scrum master and regular events like planning and reviews.

How it is used

Usually written with a capital S when it means the framework. The official description is the Scrum Guide. People talk about Scrum teams, Scrum events and Scrum roles, and say a team “uses Scrum” or “does Scrum”.
