Legal advice
Meaning in law, with examples
In law, legal advice means: Guidance from a qualified lawyer about what the law means for a particular person's situation and what options they have.
In Turkish: hukuki danışmanlık, hukuki görüş, hukuki tavsiye
How it is used
People 'seek', 'get' or 'take' legal advice, and lawyers 'give' or 'provide' it. Websites and articles often say they 'do not constitute legal advice', because general information is not advice on a specific case. Communications made to obtain legal advice are often protected by privilege.
