Utility bill
Meaning in immigration & visas, with examples
In immigration & visas, utility bill means: A regular bill for a basic household service such as electricity, gas, water or internet.

How it is used
Often accepted as proof of address if it is recent and in your name. In shared flats the bills may be in one person's name only, so newcomers sometimes ask to be added. Rent may be advertised with bills included or bills excluded.
