How to play Vocabulary Survival
- 1
Press Start. You have three hearts.
- 2
Choose the right meaning for each word. Some questions show a meaning and ask for the word.
- 3
Every wrong answer costs a heart. Survive as long as you can as the words climb from A1 to C2.
A game that finds your level
Survival starts gently and gets harder every few answers, so most players reach a point where the words become unfamiliar. That point is useful: it is roughly where your reading material should be, challenging enough to teach you something but not so hard that you stop enjoying it.
Learn from the hearts you lose
The words that cost you a heart are listed at the end with their meanings. Those are your next words to learn. Read them out loud, write a sentence with each one, and watch for them in the next book or article you open.
