Why word order matters

Turkish lets you move words around for emphasis; English mostly does not. "I have never been to London" only works in one order, and moving never breaks it. Building sentences by hand trains the patterns that make your speaking and writing sound natural.

Use the translation as a guide

On the Turkish page each sentence shows its Turkish meaning, so you also practise translating ideas, not just words. At higher levels you will meet structures like "Not only... but also" and "Little did they know", which are common in novels.
