In web development, deploy means: To put a new version of a website or app on a server so that users can reach it, usually through an automated process.

How it is used

You deploy code, a branch or an app to staging or production. The noun is deployment, often shortened to 'deploy' in speech: 'the last deploy broke the checkout'.
