In web development, class means: An HTML attribute that gives an element one or more names, so that CSS and JavaScript can find and style a group of elements together.

In Turkish: sınıf, class

How it is used

You add, remove and toggle classes, and select them in CSS with a dot (.card). Naming systems such as BEM and utility-class frameworks such as Tailwind are built around classes. In JavaScript, class is also a keyword for object-oriented code.
