Event delegation
Meaning in software engineering, with examples
In software engineering, event delegation means: Handling events from several child elements through a listener on an ancestor, using event propagation.
In Turkish: üst öğeden olay yönetimi, olay delegasyonu
How it is used
Used in dynamic web interfaces. Not every event bubbles, and the event target may be a nested child of the intended control.
Example sentences

The listener is attached to the existing ancestor, so each new row needs no separate listener.
