In web development, server means: A computer or program that waits for requests from browsers and other clients and sends back pages, files or data.

In Turkish: sunucu, server

How it is used

The word means both the machine and the software running on it. Developers start, restart and deploy to servers, and say things like 'the server is down' or 'it works on my local server'.
