Normal range
Meaning in medicine, with examples
In medicine, normal range means: The span of test values found in most healthy people, against which a patient's result is compared.
In Turkish: normal aralık, referans aralığı
How it is used
Lab reports print a reference range next to each result. Doctors say a value is within, above or below the normal range, or 'within normal limits' (WNL). Ranges vary between labs, ages and sexes, and a value just outside the range is not always abnormal.

Her potassium is slightly above the normal range, so we'll repeat it.
