Green screen

In film & television, green screen means: A plain bright green background that actors are filmed in front of, so that the green can be removed later and replaced with another image.

In Turkish: yeşil perde, yeşil ekran, kroma

How it is used

The technique is called chroma key or keying. Green is used because it is far from skin tones; blue screen is used when the scene has green in it. Crews put tracking markers on the screen so VFX artists can match camera moves. LED walls (virtual production) are a newer alternative.
