In civil engineering & construction, plan means: A drawing that shows a building or site from directly above, as if cut horizontally, with its walls, columns, rooms and dimensions.

In Turkish: plan, kat planı, vaziyet planı

How it is used

Each floor has its own plan: ground floor plan, first floor plan, roof plan, foundation plan. A site plan shows the whole plot. Something seen from above is 'shown on plan' or 'in plan'.
