Safety demonstration

In aviation, safety demonstration means: The short presentation before takeoff in which cabin crew, or a video, show passengers how to use the seat belts, exits, oxygen masks and life vests.

In Turkish: emniyet gösterimi, emniyet demosu

How it is used

Often shortened to 'safety demo'. Cabin crew perform it while the aircraft is taxiing or still at the gate; larger aircraft usually show a safety video. The safety card in the seat pocket repeats the information.
