Schengen visa

How it is used

The Schengen Area covers most EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. Applications normally go to the consulate of the main destination country, often through a visa centre, with documents such as travel medical insurance, a flight itinerary and hotel bookings.
