Terms and conditions
Meaning in contract & commercial law, with examples
In contract & commercial law, terms and conditions means: The standard rules that a business applies to all its sales or services, usually published on its website, in quotations or on the back of order forms.
In Turkish: genel şartlar, hüküm ve koşullar, genel işlem koşulları
How it is used
Often written 'T&Cs' or 'Ts&Cs'. Businesses try to make sure their own terms and conditions apply, for example by referring to them in every quotation. Consumer and business protection rules may make unfair standard terms ineffective.
