Transaction

How it is used

One of the words you see most in wallets and on explorers. You sign, send, broadcast, speed up or cancel a transaction; it can be pending, confirmed or failed. Developers and users often write it as tx (plural txs).

• transaction hashA unique code that identifies one transaction on a blockchain. You can paste it into a block explorer to see the sender, receiver, amount, fee and status.
