Understitching

How it is used

Use after joining and pressing a facing; the stitching normally stays on the inside layer.

1. Understitching kept the facing from rolling out around the neckline.

   The inside stitching controls the position of the finished edge.

2. Stop the understitching before the narrow corner where the machine cannot reach.

   Access can limit how far the concealed stitching continues.
