In education & teaching, teaching materials means: All the resources a teacher uses to help students learn, such as books, worksheets, slides, videos, flashcards and objects.

How it is used

Teachers create, adapt, select and share teaching materials. The word resources is used in the same way ('teaching resources'). Authentic materials are real texts not written for learners, such as menus, news articles or podcasts.
