Data warehouse
Meaning in data science & analytics, with examples
In data science & analytics, data warehouse means: A central database designed for analysis that stores cleaned, structured data from many systems, such as sales, marketing and finance, often over many years.
In Turkish: veri ambarı
How it is used
Snowflake, BigQuery and Redshift are well-known examples. Data is loaded into the warehouse and queried from it; people often just say 'the warehouse'. It is built for reading large amounts of data, not for running the live app.

Please don't run analysis on the production database; use the data warehouse instead.
