Bir müzakerede ya da toplantıda önerilmiş veya tartışmaya açık olan; "off the table" ise artık değerlendirilmeyen anlamına gelir.
English: Offered or available for discussion in a negotiation or meeting; something that is 'off the table' is no longer being considered.
Nerede ve nasıl kullanılır?
Müzakerelerde sık kullanılır: "Our offer is still on the table" (teklifimiz geçerliliğini koruyor), "Everything is on the table" (her şey konuşulabilir), "A price increase is off the table" (fiyat artışı söz konusu değil). Türkçede de "masada" ifadesi aynı imgeyi kullanır.
