Chi-square test, istatistikte ki-kare testi anlamına gelir.
Kategorilerdeki sayımlarla kullanılan test; çoğunlukla iki kategorik değişkenin ilişkili olup olmadığını ya da gözlenen frekansların beklenenlerle uyuşup uyuşmadığını sınamak için uygulanır.

Nerede ve nasıl kullanılır?
χ² diye yazılır ve 'χ²(2, N = 300) = 8.41, p = .015' biçiminde raporlanır. Yaygın iki türü, çapraz tablo üzerinde yapılan bağımsızlık testi ile uyum iyiliği testidir. Beklenen frekanslar çok küçük olmamalıdır; aksi halde çoğu zaman Fisher'in kesin testi kullanılır.
