Shared responsibility model
Meaning in software engineering, with examples
In software engineering, shared responsibility model means: The idea that security in the cloud is split: the provider protects the data centers, hardware and core services, and the customer protects their own data, settings and access.
In Turkish: paylaşılan sorumluluk modeli, ortak sorumluluk modeli
How it is used
AWS sums it up as security 'of' the cloud (provider) versus security 'in' the cloud (customer). The split depends on the service type: with IaaS the customer manages more than with SaaS. Often mentioned in audits and training.
