Nerede ve nasıl kullanılır?
İngiliz İngilizcesinde ve idari işlerde çok yaygındır: chase up an invoice (faturayı takip etmek), chase up a supplier (tedarikçinin peşine düşmek), chase someone up for their timesheet (birine puantajını hatırlatmak). Çoğu zaman kısaca chase denir: "I'll chase them." (Ben onları takip ederim.) Amerikan İngilizcesinde follow up tercih edilir. Kibar bir hatırlatma e-postası çoğu zaman "Just following up on..." (... konusunu tekrar hatırlatmak isterim) diye başlar.
