Lucas and the Quiet Park – A1 İngilizce Kitap

Lucas is a boy. He lives in a small house with his father. Lucas is calm and kind. He likes quiet places. He likes to walk and think. One day, Lucas wakes up early. The sun is soft. The sky is light blue. Lucas smiles. “Today is a calm day,” he says. He eats breakfast with his father. Then he puts on his shoes. “I want to go to the park,” Lucas says. “Okay,” his father says. “Have a good day.” Lucas walks to the park. The park is quiet. There are few people. The trees are tall. The air is fresh. Lucas sits on a bench. He looks around. He feels peaceful. Then he sees something near the bench. It is a small notebook. Lucas stands up. He picks it up. “This is not my notebook,” he says. He opens it. Inside, there are simple drawings. Trees, birds, and a house. Lucas smiles. “These are nice,” he says. He looks around. No one is there. Lucas sits and waits. After some time, a girl comes. She looks worried. She looks at the ground. Lucas stands up. “Hello,” Lucas says. “Are you looking for something?” “Yes,” the girl says. “I lost my notebook.” Lucas shows the notebook. “Is this yours?” he asks. The girl looks. Her face becomes bright. “Yes! This is my notebook!” she says. Lucas smiles. He gives the notebook. “Thank you,” she says. “I draw every day. This is very important to me.” Lucas feels happy.
