Wish and If Only
現在の事実と違う願いにはwish + 過去形、過去への後悔にはwish + 過去完了を使います。if onlyはより強い願いや後悔を表します。
使い方のポイント
I wish I had studied.は過去の勉強への後悔です。実現可能な未来の希望には通常hopeを使います。wish + wouldは相手や状況の変化を望む場合に使います。
