動名詞と不定詞
Gerunds and Infinitives
動詞の後に-ing形を置くか、to + 動詞の原形を置くかは、前の動詞によって決まります。enjoy doing、want to doのようにまとまりで覚えましょう。
使い方のポイント
stop doingは「その動作をやめる」、stop to doは「別の動作をするために立ち止まる」です。形によって意味が変わる動詞にも注意します。
